Breakfast time has always played a leading role for us; not only to offer a pleasant awakening to our guests but also because it is the moment in which we can deepen the mutual knowledge that characterizes the B&Bs.
And if you know each other and chat over a good slice of cake, it's even better so we offer a rich and abundant breakfast made with fresh and packaged products. On request we can arrange to provide gluten-free food.
During the summer, breakfast is served on the terrace.

The Antico Vinaio B&B is located in San Lazzaro di Savena, a town on the outskirts of Bologna. The Savena stream, which runs alongside the B&B's garden, separates the two towns that, due to urban development in recent decades, have become one large metropolitan area. As a result, transportation connections are frequent and immediate.
While Bologna stands out for its historical and artistic beauty, San Lazzaro di Savena distinguishes itself not only for the greenery of its city parks, but also for its hills characterized by the "Parco regionale dei Gessi e dei Calanchi dell'Abbadessa" (the largest karst park in Emilia-Romagna). Here, you can visit the famous caves and admire the uniqueness of the Calanchi, as well as embark on various walking or cycling paths.
San Lazzaro still offers all necessary services, and there is certainly no shortage of restaurants and pizzerias. The B&B is only 100 meters away from the town's main road, the historic via Emilia, where you can find direct connections to the center of Bologna and the train stations of both San Lazzaro and Bologna.
